Idi is a language of the South-Central Papuan group, spoken by about 1,610 people[1] in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea. The Pahoturi dialects form a chain with Idi at one end and Agob at the other.

The language has been also known as Diblaeg, Dimisi, Dimsisi.[1] Tame refers to a variety distinct from Idi.
Idi is in contact with other Papuan languages of different families, including Nen (nqn), Nambo (ncm), and the closely related Agob.[1]
